Rice team brings home top prize in 2024 Ethics in Engineering Case Competition

A team of Rice University engineering students has won this year’s national Ethics in Engineering Case Competition hosted by Lockheed Martin Corporation at their headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The competition saw 75 teams from 67 universities across the country competing in a rigorous tournament-style challenge that tested the students’ technical knowledge as well as their communication and ethics acumen.

Rice Center for Engineering Leadership launches “Rice Engineering Leader Speaker Series” showcasing engineers in leadership

A new speaker series is coming to Rice University this year – one by engineers, for engineers. The Rice Engineering Leader Speaker series, hosted by RCEL, features executives and thought leaders from technology organizations who uniquely employ or depend on engineers.  These accomplished and insightful leaders will share their experiences in navigating disruptive change and how engineers can equip themselves to lead the way.
