RCEL’s leadership development programing goes beyond undergraduate engineering education. RCEL Professional Development opportunities are for professionals in engineering and technical fields who want to build leadership, management and communication skills to better themselves and their companies. Taught by the same Rice faculty who teach our RCEL students on campus, this training equips professionals with skills to create and communicate a vision, build multicultural high-performing teams, form and execute collaborative plans, and create innovations that endure.
Unlike MBA or executive education programs, RCEL does not offer general business or management courses. By basing leadership, communication, and project management in an engineering and technical context, RCEL professional development students gain enhanced skills that are immediately applicable to their careers.
