RCEL Design Challenge and Information Event 2016

If you're curious about the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership and want to learn what it would be like to be a part of it, you can find out this Friday, 4:30-6:30pm in Rayzor Hall room 123. They're going to have a fast-paced team challenge with current RCEL students as coaches. Talk to these students and learn what they've gotten out of RCEL's certificate program. Why in the world should I get a PhD in Engineering?

This seminar aims to challenge the prevailing myths and opinions about the importance of considering a Ph.D. in Engineering. In under 40 minutes, the speaker will attempt to show that many of society’s game changers of tomorrow will be those among you who emerge as leaders in technology, and the clearest, most catapulting pathway to this end, is via a PhD in engineering.
