RICE LAUNCH Entrepreneurial Summit

Rice Launch will be hosting a day of entrepreneurial workshops followed by a chance to compete in an Investor Pitch competition. The purpose of this event will be to inspire Rice students to be the innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The event will not only help teams learn about ideation and business development, but prepare them to start ventures both on campus and beyond as well.

Who are we seeking? Anyone and everyone interested in learning about business and entrepreneurship. If you don’t have an idea, no problem! If you do have an idea, you can help those that don’t! Everyone will sign up as an individual and be placed into teams of 5-6 during the summit based on industry of interest. If you have an idea, be sure to bring it to the summit and share with people that don’t.

For those that do not currently have one in mind, there will be a long list of possible ideas provided for the purpose of going through the workshop to work towards presenting that idea in the competition.

The summit lasts from 11:00am to 8:30pm with free lunch and dinner provided. Prize money will be given to the top three teams at the end of the elevator pitch. We look forward to seeing all of you come out and proving that Rice students have what it takes to be successful entrepreneurs!
